About Coram

Coram is committed to improving the lives of the UK’s most vulnerable children and young people.

We support children and young people from birth to independence, creating a change that lasts a lifetime.

Coram is the UK’s oldest children’s charity founded by Thomas Coram in London helping vulnerable children and young people since 1739. Today, the Coram group helps more than one million children, young people, families and professionals every year by providing access to the skills and opportunities they need to thrive.

About Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation

Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation (CSSF) is a national cultural education charity that exists to instil curiosity and empathy, aspiration and self-esteem, literacy and teamwork - giving young people the confidence to stride onto whatever stage they choose. Our programmes follow a rigorous and supportive process to train teachers and young people in an active and ambitious way of working with Shakespeare.

In 2022, with CSSF, children will play, recover and build towards the future. Through opportunities to reconnect, they will make new friends; through exciting, active learning, they will grow in empathy, confidence and resilience; through rediscovering their creativity, they will open new horizons.

About the role

The Schools Outreach Coordinator is responsible for managing relationships with lapsed schools and exploring, researching and building new sales leads for our Festivals and workshops. You will be able to manage multiple tasks effectively and facilitate incoming/outbound sales enquiries by phone, email and in person, ensuring the sales process runs seamlessly from inception to renewal. You will build relationships with schools/teachers across the UK as well as overseeing the sign up of schools across your allotted region(s)/theatres. This role is all about teamwork and collaboration across all CSSF departments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual looking to join a creative and ambitious organisation and develop professionally in a supportive, dynamic team. As an integral part of our Sales & Marketing team, you’ll be signing up schools for these unique creative experiences across our creative portfolio.
