Job Title: Head of Policy, Research & Development Team
Hours: 28-35 hours per week
Salary: £55,000 to 58,000 per annum

CoramBAAF is the leading professional membership body for family placement policy and practice development. Dedicated to improving outcomes for children and young people in care by supporting the agencies and professionals who work with them, primarily in the UK but also internationally. Coram BAAF supports and represent its members, champion best practice, and provides high quality policy and practice guidance advice, training and resources.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a highly regarded and innovative Policy, Research & Development Team (PRD) in the context of the changing landscape of the family placement and children’s social care sector.
This role is instrumental in making sure the PRD team delivers high quality, well targeted practice and policy development support to member agencies, influences policy and practice at a local and national level, and contributes to positive outcomes for children in and around the care system. It leads on coordination and communication of the PRD team.
We are looking for a dynamic, creative person steeped in children’s social care who is passionate about improving children and young people’s lives to join our friendly and knowledgeable team.
