Coram is the UK’s oldest children’s charity founded by Thomas Coram in London helping vulnerable children and young people since 1739. Today, the Coram group helps more than one million children, young people, families and professionals every year by providing access to the skills and opportunities they need to thrive.
Coram-i itself works with children’s social care services to help them improve the serves they deliver, such as adoption and fostering, to improve outcomes for vulnerable children. It uses the mix of skills available at Coram and its partners, including social workers, analysts and management consultants, combining their expertise to develop effective solutions that tackle the underlying causes of poor outcomes for children. This role is particularly appropriate for an entrepreneurial individual with strong project management capability looking to make a difference and help build a social enterprise across public, private and charity sectors.
About the Role
Coram-i is looking for a highly motivated individual who understands children’s social care in England to help us drive the growth of our newest initiative – the Coram Innovation Incubator (CII).
The Coram Innovation Incubator is a new vehicle that will provide local authorities and their partners with the means to generate, test and scale radical solutions to shared challenges facing the children’s social care sector. As the Incubator Development Lead you will play a key role in the Incubator’s success. We are looking for someone with entrepreneurial qualities who will make the most of this exciting opportunity to change the lives of vulnerable children for the better.
